I wanted to have the experience of a designer that would guide me in terms of the overall picture. I felt that I needed the expertise of someone that could coordinate each room and make the house cohesive and pleasing overall, not just someone (like me) that would do one room at a time.
Great experience. Even when I wanted to make decisions about something that should come much later in the process, Lisa kept me on track.
I love waking up in my new surroundings. It’s such a pleasure to enjoy the purpose that was intended for each room. I have a room called The Retreat. It is “the cozy TV room in front of the master bedroom”. Lisa named it appropriately as I am learning to retreat from everyday stress as I enjoy the loveliness of that room. It’s comfortable and cozy to watch my shows on TV. It’s a very calming and efficient place to work. And it is a lovely spot to have coffee and get the day started. Loving how she took advantage of the room’s views.

I realized that I have never properly expressed to you just how much Arlene and I appreciate the work you did for us on our home. Not a day passes that we don’t remark to each other what a lovely place we have to live in now. The changes you brought about did not simply transform our home but they transformed our lives as well, which has proven to be even more important since the Covid pandemic has kept us home far more than we would have planned.
For years I had had a vision for the atrium that you brought to reality, only even better than I would have imagined possible. Throughout the entire process, I had the feeling that we were on the same page as far as design choices, and I’m sure that was in great part because you were so careful to listen to our wishes and needs, which is the highest compliment I can pay you. You were simply a pleasure to work with, especially given the challenges posed by the pandemic. Likewise, Jeremy couldn’t have been a better person to work with. It is obvious that you have selected him to do your work because he displays the attention to detail that you demonstrate in your design work.
